Hubert Louis Will (April 23, 1914 – December 9, 1995) was a United States federal judge.
Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Will received an A.B. from the University of Chicago in 1935 and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 1937. He was an Attorney, General Counsel's Staff, Securities and Exchange Commission from 1937 to 1939. He was a Special secretary of U.S. Sen. Robert Wagner in 1939. He was a Clerk, Senate Committee on Banking and Currency in 1939. He was a Special assistant to U.S. attorney general of Tax Division, Department of Justice from 1940 to 1941. He was an Assistant to general counsel, OPA in 1942. He was a Tax counsel, U.S. Alien Property Custodian in 1943. He was a Chief of counter espionage branch, European Theater of Operations, Office of Strategic Services from 1943 to 1945. He was in the United States Army Captain from 1945 to 1946. He was in private practice in Chicago, Illinois from 1946 to 1961.
Will was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Will was nominated by President John F. Kennedy on September 14, 1961, to a new seat created by 75 Stat. 80. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on September 21, 1961, and received his commission on September 22, 1961. He assumed senior status on April 23, 1979. Will served in that capacity until December 9, 1995, due to his death.
He died in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.
